Darin “Diego” Joye
was reared on a slice of old California scrubland near the outskirts of San Diego County. A steady diet of Hank Thompson, Leon Russell, and Willie ‘n’ Waylon records planted a permanent twang in young Diego’s heart that emerged when he first picked up the guitar and started picking. Thirty years on, Diego has worked up a few chops on Mandolin, Lap Steel, Piano, Bass, and Drums to round out his musicality and keep things interesting.
